Engel & Völkers welcomes new owner in Nelspruit

Engel & Völkers Southern Africa welcomes Kobus Bosman, the new license partner for Engel & Völkers Nelspruit, into their fold.  Previous owners, Clive Gauntlett and Duncan Cremer, will continue to operate in the Lowveld, but will concentrate exclusively on their Engel & Völkers Hoedspruit license.

“With a strong background in property development, we look forward to working with Kobus in the Nelspruit area,” says Craig Hutchinson, CEO of Engel & Völkers Southern Africa. “The inclusion of White River, Barberton, Malelane, Komatipoort and Ngodwana in the Nelspruit license territory, will expand the Engel & Völkers brand reach in the Lowveld and strengthen our network throughout Southern Africa and abroad, from where we’ve recently noted a marked interest, particularly for guest houses and lodges.”

The Nelspruit region offers a variety of property investment options. The historic Barberton is fast becoming a tourist destination of choice, while Malelane and Komatipoort, part of the Maputo corridor, are rich in commercial opportunities. As the gateway to Swaziland, with the near complete national road and an upswing in agricultural holdings and land sales – a field that Engel & Völkers Nelspruit specialises in – the spectrum has broadened, making for a truly unique license territory.

“I am extremely excited to have invested in the Nelspruit license area. I was immediately struck by the sophisticated Engel & Völkers brand, their training academy, IT systems and their integrated sales and marketing strategy, all of which have ensured top of mind awareness. For me, it was a natural choice to buy into this successful international brand, when the opportunity arose to build and expand on the Nelspruit territory,” enthuses Bosman.

Local home owners may look forward to quality service and advice from Bosman and his team of property specialists and he invites all interested parties to visit the shop to experience Engel & Völkers Nelspruit’s professional and friendly service first hand. “With the current property cycle bottoming out and the upswing slowly starting, there is no better time to review your current property portfolio,” Bosman concludes.

Engel & Völkers is an international property company with 555 shops worldwide, and has been operating in the global arena for over 30 years.
